RESOLUTION NO. 5•`3"Y ~~'
WHEREAS, the Hawaii Island Board of Realtors at their annual
banquet held December 16, 1982 conferred honors to Anita Chang
as Associate-Realtor of the Year (1982) which was the first honor
ever bestowed upon an associate member of the Board; and
WHEREAS, Anita joined the Board in 1980, and has served in
various committees such as Chairwoman of the Public Relations
Committee; Mid-year Social Committee; Tar Boat Ccxomittee;
Installation Banquet Coaenittee, and also served as member of the
Hawaii Association of Realtors' Public Relations Committee and
Convention Committee; and
WHEREAS, her other community activities include being First
Vice President of the Keaau School PISA; Chairwoman of the school`s
fundraiser committee; member of the Hawaii Island United Way;
member of the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce membership
Committee and political-activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BX THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that it extends its congratulations to Anita Chang for
being named the 1982 Associate-Realtor of the Year by the Hawaii
Island Board of Realtors..
BE ZT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
be instructed to remit a true copy of this resolution to
Anita Chang and to Hawaii Island Board of Realtors.
