WHEREAS, ELAINE and RICHARD DOLLNIG have ventured into the
unprecedented enterprise oP hatching and raising rainbow trout irk
brackish water; and
WHEREAS, the DOLLNiG's modest trout farm in Keaukaha, Hawaii,
is the only location in the entire world where trout, a fish,
whose natural habitat is cold fresh water, era hatched and raised
for marketing entirely in brackish water; and
WHEREAS, the major advancements oP this pioneering couple in
our Aquaculture Industry in brackish water Perming and marketing
of fresh rainbow trout Por Hawaii's discriminating palates
represents another potential for economic growth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it congratulates ELAINE and RICHARD DOLLNIG on their
pioneering efforts in hatching and raising rainbow trout in
brackish water and wish them avert' continued success in this
entrepreneurial endeavor.
BE IT FURTHER RE50LVED that the Clerk oP the County oP Hawaii
be and is hereby directed to transmit a true copy of this
Resolution to ELAINE and RICHARD DOLLNIG.
