Resolution
WHEREAS, the Saint Francis Hospital Hilo Hemodialysis Satellite
Facility was brought to fruition by the cooperative efforts of
Saint Francis Hospital and numerous, allied health personnel on the
Island of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, Saint Francis Hospital's Hilo Hemodialysis Satellite
Facility has brought staff-assisted, self-care and home-care dialysis
services to kidney patients who are residents of the Big Island; and
WHEREAS, Saint Francis Hospital's Hilo Hemodialysis Satellite
Facility will mark its TENTH YEAR OF SERVICE on November 1, 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that Saint Francis Hospital's Hilo Hemodialysi.s Satellite
Facility be commended for bringing specialized hemodialysis services
to the residents of Hawaii in the familiar and comfortable surroundings
of their home island.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
be instructed to transmit a copy of this resolution to Sister Maureen
Keleher, Chief Executive Officer, Saint Francis Hospital.
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 20th day of October 1982.
