RESOLUTION NO. 480 82
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii annually selects an outstanding'
employee for exemplary performance on the job and in, community
service; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Linda Mende, an Account Clerk for the Office of
Aging, was named as the 1981-82 Outstanding Employee of the Year--
Non-Supervisory Category; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Mende's innovative ideas, pcsitive work attitude
and genuine zeal to continually improve services to the elderly
and handicapped have helped to make the Office of Aging a very
effective agency of the County Government; and
WHEREAS, in the realm of volunteer services, Mrs. 14ende's
compassion and love for others is further demonstrated through her
association with public and community-minded organizations such as
the Blood Sank of Hawaii, the Pohaku.lani Kum.i.ai., and two school
PTAs.
NO~V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE. COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it extends its warmest congratulations to Mrs. Linda
Mende for being selected as the County of Hawaii's 1981-82
Employee of the Year--Nan-Supervisory Category.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council convey its sincere
appreciation and mahale to Mrs. Mende for demonstrated competence
and professionalism in the performance of her job, and that she
enjoy continued success and self-satisfaction in her career with
the Office of Aging.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County.of Hawaii
transmit a true copy of this Resolution to Mrs. Linda Mende.
