County of Hawaii - State of Hawaii
Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that
any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of
funds from appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more
than one fiscal year be approved by resolution of the Council;
and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 699 adopted by the Council on
November 7, 1980, the County entered into a five-year, lease-
purchase agreement (Lease No. 40008) to acquire its data
processing/word processing equipment; and
WHEREAS, the County wishes to add additional data processing/
word processing terminal equipment to Equipment Lease Agreement
No. 40008;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the County
of Hawaii:
1. That it approve the additional terminal equipment
to be added to Lease No. 40008; and
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal
years to cover the obligation of the County under the lease
agreement.
