RESOLUTION No. 459 82
WHEREAS, James Riyoso Kuwaye, 66, of Hilo, passed away at Hilo
Hospital on September i0, 1981; and
WHEREAS, Cdr. Kuwaye, who came from a large family with modest
means, sacrifice, and worked long hours to help improve his
family's stanuard of living; anu
WHEREAS, Mr. Kuwaye and his brothers founued and developed
Kuwaye brothers and Allied Aggregates Corporation, which are
recognizeu as major Kamaaina Trucking and Contracting firms on the
big Island; and
WHEREAS, in addition to being a pioneer contractor in our
community, Jimmy will more importantly be affectionately
remembered as generous, cheerful, and humble, a man who extenueu a
helping nand to people in neer and whu easily captured the respect
and admiration to all whom he contacted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it expresses its deepest sympathy to nls wife, Daisy,
and son, Glenn.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Cleric of the County of Hawaii
Present true copies of this Resolution to his wife, Mrs. Daisy
Kuwaye anu his son, lar. Glenn Kuwaye.
