RESOLUTION N0. 3i3~ ~,~
WHEREAS, Mr. Henry Cho, State Highway Maintenance Supervisor and
his South Kona Roadside Maintenance Crew have taken ereat pride in
landscaping and beautifying the Ke Ala Keawe Road, primarily used to
the City of Refuge; and
PlHEREAS, Ke Ala Keawe Road is well traveled by visitors and
residents as it bears access to and Prom the famous Puuhonua
0 Nonaunau, known as the City of Refuge; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Cho has received the Director's Award from the
State Department of Transportation which is the highest honor within
the department; and
WHEREAS, Henry Cho and his crew deserves recognition for their
exemplary display in keeping South Kona clean and beautiful; and
WHEREAS, the County Council is endeavoring to promote the
beautification of our island, Hawaii.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 0Y THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it commends Mr. Henry Cho and his South Kona Roadside
Maintenance Crew for their extensive effort in preserving the beauty
along Ke Ala Keawe Road.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this Resolution be
forwarded to Mr. Henry Cho and his Maintenance Crew, 0r. Ryokichi
Hiaashionna, Director of the State Department of Transportation and
Mr. Alvah Miyamoto, District Engineer of the State Highways Division.
