RESOLUTION N0. 653 ~3
WHEREAS, Mr. Serge D'Rovencourt, General Manager of the Kana
Hilton Beact~ and Tennis Resort, has been named the General Manager
of the Hilton Hawaiian Village; and
WHEREAS, Mr. D'Rovencourt's hostelry career began with iris
studies at the Grenoble Hotel School and has taken him to such
countries as France, England, South America and to various cities in
the United States of America; and
WHEREAS, Mr. D"Rovencourt's extensive professional training and
experience will certainly add to the success of the Hilton Hawaiian
Village, a cornerstone amongst the hotel complexes in the world
renown resort destination of Waikiki; and
WHEREAS, Mr. D'Rovencourt actively participated in various
community organizations such as the Kona Rotary Club, the Shriners
and the Parker School PTO; and
WHEREAS, Mr. D'Rovencourt's legacy during his eleven-year tenure
at the Kona Hilton Beach and Tennis Resort will be well remembered
by his employees and all those who have had the opportunity to have
associated with him.
N06V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 6Y THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAiI that it congratulates Mr. Serge O'Ravencourt upon his
promotion and extends him best wishes and continued success.
DE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
transmit a true copy of this Resolution to Mr. Serge D'Rovencourt.
