Resolution
NAMING OF STREET IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to
adopt street names of unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii
pursuant to Section 4.03, Article 2, Chapter 9, Hawaii County Code;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of
April 28, 1983, approved the following name for a certain unnamed
roadway at Ooma 1st and Kalaoa 5th, North Kona, Hawaii; now
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadway, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as
follows:
Ooma 1st and Kalaoa 5th, North Kona, Hawaii
Kalaoa Street
- Named after the Ahupuaa of
Kalaoa, in which the road is
located.
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 18th day of May ~
1983.
