Resolution
NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to
adopt the street names of unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii
pursuant to Section 4.03, Article 2, Chapter 9, Hawaii County Code;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of
March 17, 1983, approved the following names for certain unnamed
roadways in Haihai Estates, Unit I, Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii; now
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadways, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named
as follows:
hai Estates, Unit I, Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii
Ahe Street - "Breeze; to blow or breathe
gently" (Extension of
an existing street)
Lei Lehua Street - "Lei of Lehua blossoms"
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 20th day of April 1983.
