RESOLUTION NO. 5~~ ~~~
WHEREAS, Julia J. Df. Kamanawa has been selected Ydoman of the
Year by the Konalani Chapter of the American Business Women's
Association (ABWA) in Kailua-Kona; and
WHEREAS, Julia Kamanawa, a graduate of Konawaana School,
entered the Job Corps in Washington State where she took up
management, warehousing, sales, advertising, promotions and TBM
training; and
WHEREAS, Julia Kamanawa is the secretary and public relations
representative for Huaialai Memorial Park, Inc., Hualalai Memorial
Funeral Plan, Inc., and alsc works at McOonald's Restaurant of
Kana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CDUPJTY OF
HAWAII that it extends its congratulations to Julla J. M. Kamanawa
for being elected Woman of the Year by the Konalani Chapter of the
American Business Women's Association and commends ABWA for
bestowing this deserved honor to Julia Samanawa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii.
be instructed ta,transmit a true copy of this Resolution to
Julia 3. M. Kamanawa and Mrs. Mildred Nelson, President of
American Business Women's Association.
