The attached resolution in support of Opening the Hale Halawai Parking Lot in Kailua-Kona
Village is being submitted for consideration. The resolution directs the Department of Parks and
Recreation to open the parking lot on a daily basis with restrictions as it deems necessary and
appropriate. Please place on the appropriate agenda for the next Council Committees meeting.
