WIiEREAS, the Kenneth S. Tanouye family was recently
awarded the Pukahi District Scout Family of the Year Award
from the Aloha Council, Boy Scout of America; and
hTHBREAS, Kenneth presently serves as Cubmaster of
Paclc 60; wife Lois Jean is a member of~the Pack Committee;
son Stefan is a Bear Cub with P..ack 60; daughter Relly has
served on the annual Cub Day Camp Staff and son Ken, Jr., is
a member of Star Scout Troop 78 thereby making up the Scout
Family of the Year.
NO19, THEREFORE, BF. IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUPdTY OF HA4dAII that it extends its congratulations to the
Kenneth S. Tanouye family f_or being honored as the 1982 Scout
Family of the Year from the Aloha Council Boy Scout of. America.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii be instructed to remit a true copy of this Resolution to
the Kenneth S. Tanouye Family.
