Resolution
NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to
adopt the street names of unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii
pursuant to Section 4.03, Article 2, Chapter 9, Hawaii County Code;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of
February 17, 1983, approved the following names for certain unnamed
roadways within the Ke-Ahole Agricultural Park, Phases I & II,
Kalaoa 1st-4th & Ooma 1st, North Kona, Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadways, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named
as follows:
Ke-Ahole Agricultural Park, Phases I & II, Kalaoa 1st-4th &
Ooma 1st, North Kona, Hawaii
Kupaloke Street - Tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa)
Lau'i Street - Leaves of the Ti plant
Pukiawe Street - The black-eyed Susan (Arbrus
precatorius), a slender climbing
legume
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 16th day of March , 1983.
