Resolution
NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to
adopt the street names of unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii
pursuant to Section 4.03, Article 2, Chapter 9, Hawaii County Code;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of
February 17, 1983, approved the following names for certain unnamed
roadways within the Lalamilo Subdivision, Lalamilo, Waimea, South
Kohala, Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadways, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named
as follows:
Lalamilo Subdivision, Lalamilo, Waimea, South Kohala, Hawaii
Wai'aka Street - Local place name of the area and
the home of the Lindsey family;
lit., laughing water
Wai'aka Place - Local place name of the area and
home the of the Lindsey family;
lit., laughing water
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 16th ~ day of March 1983.
