A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE COUNTY COUNCIL'S VICE CHAIR AND THE
CHAIRS AND VICE CHAIRS OF THE Ci)UNTY COUNCIL'S STANDING
COMMITTEES.
WHEREAS, the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of
Hawai `i was established by the adoption of Resolution No. 04-09 on December 1, 2008; and
WHEREAS, Rule No. 24, §5(a)(1)(A), of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of
the Council of the County of Hawai `i allows for organization of Council by resolution; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Emily Naeole is hereby declared the duly elected Vice Chair of the Council of the County of
Hawaii effective August 5, 2009.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant to the Rules of Procedure and
Organization of the Council of the County of Hawai `i, the following members are hereby
designated as Chair and Vice Chair of the stated committees:

Public Works and Intergovernmental
Relations Guy Enriques
Planning Donald Ikeda
Finance Dennis Onishi
Food and Energy Sustainability Brenda Ford
Public Safety and Parks and
Recreation Dominic-Yagong

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant to Rule No.5 of the Rules of Procedure
and Organization of the Council of the COlmty of Hawai 'i, the Chair and all members of the
Council shall be members of each of the above Committees.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that Resolution Nos. 02-09, 05-09, 06-09, 07-09, 08-09,
09-09,10-09, 11-09,200-09,201-09, and 217-09 are hereby superseded.
