Yamashiro, dated December 22, 1997, advising that he has appointed Yun Chu Pilles of Hilo to the Hawaii County Committee on the Status of Women, succeeding herself, for a term to end on December 31, 2001. Mrs. Pilles is a 12-year resident of Hawaii and, since 1990, has been with the University of Hawaii at Hilo, involved in the marketing and public relations office.
