From Richard S. Miller, President, Honolulu
Community-Media Council, a private non-profit
organization, dated January 13, 1998, stating he, along
with Sean McLaughlin, Executive Director of Akaku; Maui
Community Television; Scott Shirai, Director of
Communications, Hawaiian Electric Industries and owner
of Visual Perspectives, would like to make a
presentation on the Hawaii Statewide Civil Affairs
Network (HI-SCAN) to the Hawaii County Council.

GOVERNMENT ACCESS TELEVISION: Channel 9 (Hilo) The Public Works &
Parks Committee and Finance Committee meetings can be seen on
Tuesday, February 3 at 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 10, at
8:30 p.m. The Human Services & Economic Development and Planning
Committee meetings can be seen on Thursday, February 5 at 8:30 p.m.
and Thursday, February 12 at 8:30 p.m.
Channel 12 (Kona) The Public works & Parks Committee and Finance
Committee meetings can be seen on Wednesday, February 4 at 8:30 p.m.
and on Tuesday, February 10 at 8:30 p.m. The Human Services &
Economic Development and Planning Committee meetings can be seen on
Friday, February 6 at 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, February 12 at 8:30 p.m.
All the above meetings will be aired on Sunday, February 15 at 9 a.m.
