AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 00-63, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2001.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 00-63, as amended, is hereby further amended by appropriating revenues in the
following amount(s) to the fund(s) as set forth in Section 2.

Revenues - State Grant - $49,000
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Hawaii County Fire Department has, for several years,
supported the volunteer fire fighters at Milolii, South Kona, with
equipment and training. A major facet of this was development of
a water supply and delivery system.
The State Grant funds will be used to waterproof existing storage
tanks, purchase a water pump, and related equipment.
