AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983
(1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`L
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-269, schedule 17 (Right turns
only), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended
by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to tread as follows:
~ Halai Street at Waianuenue Avenue, northwest,bound 7:15 a.m. to
8:00 a.m. on school days onik
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In
printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person
or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affecrt other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to
this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be seV~erable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
