HomeMy WebLinkAboutCOM 0257.015 2008-2010 I3ONOLI'I Honoli'i, which was scheduled to be purchased after Kawa'a I was told has been moved out of the top 5 properties to be purchased because Mr. Olson did not want to sell the parcel which is truly false. `It took me over two years to negotiate the purchase of Honoli'i from Dr. Ballard so the County could purchase the land for open space and park use. It was costing me over $4,000 per month to hold the property so Mr. Olson agreed to purchase the house and 9 acres from me at zero profit and hold the property for the County. He is definitely interested in selling it to the County. It was his employee and friend who asked me if Mr. Olson would be obligated to sell the land to the County and I said no but if that was the intent then I would not have sold the land to Mr. Olson. It was this employee who did not want to sell the property, so that 1. could have h told t M y d ho in turn informed t le commission, was because they are now using the property for their personal use. This is truly one of a kind real estate with the largest navigable river on the big island and it should be acquired after Kawa'a. Comm. No. oZS~• Ref. To: Jtgf. Date MAY 0~5 20091
