RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE COUNCIL CHAIR AND THE VICE CHAIR
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that James Y. Arakaki
be and he is hereby declared the duly elected Chair and Presiding Officer of the Council of the County of
Hawaii effective December 7, 1998.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Council Member Al Smith be and he is hereby declared the
duly elected Vice Chair of the Council of the County of Hawaii.
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 7th day of December 1998.
