RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AMENDING SALARY ORDINANCE NO. 988 l TO ADD STEPS TO THE COMPENSATION SCALE OF
THE LA-Ill PAY GRADE (FISCAL/PROGRAM REVIEW AUDITOR)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-13 of [he Hawaii County Charter, interim amendments [o the Salary Ordinance
No. 98-51 shall be by resolution of the council; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to include additional steps in to the compensation scale for the LA-III pay grade
(FiscaliProgram Review Auditor), which recognizes a broader range of pay for the position.
BE [T FURTHER RESOLVED that Ordinance No. 98-5 1, Section 3(B) relating to the rate of compensation for LA-Q[
(Fiscal/Program Review Auditor) be amended as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds are available in the Regular Salaries and Wages account of the County Clerk-
Council Services.
