RESOLUTION No. X32 84
WHEREAS, in 1969 the Hawaii Community College was integrated
into the University System and today, the Hawaii Community College
has developed into an outstanding vocational institution which is
now recognized and cherished as an integral part of our higher
educational system here in Hilo; and
WHEREAS, essentially a dream in the
Community College achieved its prestige
to the many business, labor, government

8E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it extends its fondest Manalo and
Aloha to Provost Mitsugu Sumada, ttie staff and faculty for a ,job

successes and accomplishments in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
transmit a copy of this resolution to the Hav+aii Community College
and to Provost Sumada.
