RESOLUTION N0. 2 3 ~ 9
- A RESOLUTION AMENDING SALARY ORDINANCE NO. 98-51 BY ADDING A NEW
- SECTION 8.14 DATA SYSTEM DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, Section 3-13, Hawaii County Charter, provides for interim
amendments to the Salary Ordinance to be made by resolution; and
WHEREAS, a proposed amendment to the Hawaii County Charter to
establish a Data System Department was submitted to the voters of the County
of Hawaii on November 3, 1998; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-156 Hawaii Revised Statutes, the
County Clerk has certified that the proposed amendment was approved by a
majority of the voters voting upon said amendment; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that Salary Ordinance No. 98-51 be amended by adding a new
Section 8.14 DATA SYSTEM DEPARTMENT and that the current Section 8.14
OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY be renumbered to Section 8.15;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that under Section 8.14 DATA SYSTEM
DEPARTMENT the following class of work be established.
1 Director of Data System A-18
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be transmitted to
the Office of the Mayor, the Director of Finance, and the Personnel Director.
