RESOLUTION NO. 2 9 9 9
RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING THE UNENCUMBERED BALANCES OF THE
DATA PROCESSING DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE TO THE
DATA SYSTEM DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, an amendment to the Hawaii Cotmty Charter to establish a Data
System Department was approved by a majority of the voters of the County of Hawaii
on November 3,1998; and
WHEREAS, the Data Processing Division of the Department of Finance will be
transferred to be a part of the Data System Depaztment; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has established sepazate accounts for the
appropriation and expenditures of the Data System Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I"I' RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII, that on March 1, 1999, the unencumbered balances of the Data Processing
Division of the Department of Finance be transferred and appropriated to the Data
System Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii shall
transmit copies of this resolution to the Data System Department and the Department of
Finance and that the Director of Finance be and is hereby authorized to make the
necessary transfers in accordance with this resolution.
