NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ~
Pursuant to §92 -41, Hawaii Revised Statutes (hereinafter "HRS "), notice is glvenC;
that a public hearing will be held by the Council of the County of Hawaii for the purpose
of considering Resolution 218 -09: y �
Res. 218 -09: Designates the County Council's Vice Chair and the Chairs and
Vice Chairs of the County Council's Standing Committees, as follows: Public
Works and Intergovernmental Relations — Guy Enriques, Chair, and
Kelly Greenwell, Vice Chair; Planning — Donald Ikeda, Chair, and Guy Enriques,
Vice Chair; Finance — Dennis Onishi, Chair, and Donald Ikeda, Vice Chair; Food
and Energy Sustainability — Brenda Ford, Chair, and Pete Hoffmann, Vice Chair;
Public Safety and Parks and Recreation — Dominic Yagong, Chair, and
Dennis Onishi, Vice Chair; Environmental Management — Kelly Greenwell,
Chair, and Brenda Ford, Vice Chair; Human Services and Economic
Development — Emily Naeole, Chair, and Dominic Yagong, Vice Chair; and
Council Vice Chair —Emily Naeole. {Supersedes Resolution Numbers 02 -09,

Time: 6:30 p.m.
Place: Council Room, 333 Kilauea Avenue (Ben Franklin
Building), Second Floor, Hilo, Hawaii
All persons desiring to express their views on the above matter may do so orally at the
hearing and must register with the County Clerk's staff. Those submitting written
testimony at the hearing should bring seventeen copies for distribution. Testimony may
also be submitted: (1) by mail to the County Clerk's Office in Hilo at 25 Aupuni St.,
Hilo, Hawaii, 96720; (2) by facsimile to (808) 961 -8912; or (3) by e -mail to
counciltestirnonyna co.hawaii.hi.us For testimony received via e -mail or fax, copies will
be distributed at the hearing when transmitted in a timely manner. All oral and written
testimony will be made a part of the public record.
The meeting place is accessible for persons with disabilities. Persons who need special
