RESOLUTION NO. 727
WHEREAS, HARVEY S. TAJIRI has served the 'people of
Hawaii County as their elected representative to the County
Council from December 6, 1976, thru December 1, 1980; and
WHEREAS, Councilman HARVEY S. TAJIRI, having completed
a full term, has opted to step down from public office to
devote more time to his family and entrepreneurial activities;
and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, Councilman TAJIRI provided
vital leadership to the County Council as Council Chairman,
then as Chairman of the Committee on Finance, and
WHEREAS, the Council and
Councilman TAJIRI's endeavors
betterment of our County.'

and contributions for the
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that it extends its best wishes to their
colleague, HARVEY S. TAJIRI, and conveys the appreciation
of this body and the people of the County fvr his dedicated
service and self-sacrifice to the community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii be and is hereby directed to transmit a true copy of
this resolution to HARVEY S. TAJIRI.
