Resolution
NO. ' 716
WHEREAS, the road remnant which has been created by the
realignment of the Paauilo-Pohakea Homestead Road in Manienie and
Opihilala, Hamakua, Hawaii, has not been abandoned; and
WHEREAS, said road remnant is'tno longer of any use to the
County of Hawaii;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the road remnant which has been created by the
realignment of the Paauilo-Pohakea Homestead Road as delineated
in red on the map attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", be and is
hereby declared abandoned as a roadway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized
and directed to forward a copy of'this resolution to the Department
of Land and Natural Resourcesr State of Hawaii and to the
Department of Public Works of the County of Hawaii.
