WHEREAS, KAORU NAGAI has been selected as the 1980 Supervisory
County Government Employee of the Year; and
WHEREAS, KAORU NAGAI heads the Planning Department's Land
Development section and is responsible for processing all subdivisions
within the County; and
WHEREAS, despite an increasing workload, his section has
continued to provide the public with professional services in a
timely manner; and
WHEREAS, KAORU NAGAI has also extended his leadership qualities
in his extensive community activities with the Olaa Japanese School,
the Puna Hongwanji YBA, the Keaau School PTA, the Boys Scout, the
Puna Hongwanji Mission, Keaau Village Community Association, and
the Puna Credit Union.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that it commends KAORU".NAGAI for being selected as the
1980 Supervisory County Government Employee of the Year and recognize
his outstanding work both in government and the community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
transmit a copy of this resolution to Mr. Kaoru Nagai.
