Resolution
WHEREAS, the Kanoelehua Industrial Association has since 1976,
expanded its boundaries to accommodate more business entities,
attesting to the needed and welcomed growth of commercial activities
in Hilo; and
WHEREAS, this economic boost has been due in part to the
financial opportunities as offered by the Kanoelehua Industrial
Area, Federal Credit Union; and
WHEREAS, the National Credit Union Administration requires
that in order for the KIA-FCU to maintain its charter, it mandates
that the additional areas be included and also recognized as part
of the Kanoelehua Industrial area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that for the purpose of complying with the policy of the
National Credit Union Administration, that it officially recognizes
the area delineated in red on the attached map as the Kanoelehua
Industrial Area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
be instructed to remit true copies of this resolution to the National
Credit Union Administration; Bonnie Twitchell, President of the
Kanoelehua Association; and Patrick Petti, Manager of the Kanoelehua
Industrial Area, Federal Credit Union.
