Resolution
WHEREAS, the road remnants which has been created by the realignment of
the Kaapahu Homestead Road in Kaapahu, Hamakua, Hawaii has not been abandoned;
and
WHEREAS, said road remnants are no longer of any use to the County of Hawaii;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the road remnants which has been created by the realignment of the Kaapahu Home-
stead Road as delineated in red on the map attached hereto and marked Exhibit
"A", "B" and "C", be and is hereby declared abandoned as a roadway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized and directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to the Department of Land and Natural Resources,
State of Hawaii, and to the Department of Public Works of the County of Hawaii.
