Resolution
WHEREAS, the Manowaiopae Homestead Road is outside of its right-of-way
in this area.
WHEREAS, the Manuwaiopae Homestead Road boundary was set in error which
caused a residence to encroach in the homestead road reserve.
WHEREAS, the portion of the said homestead road reserve outside of the
existing homestead road is no longer of any use to the County of Hawaii;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the said encroached portion of the road reserve is outside of the existing
homestead road as described and delineated in yellow on the map attached hereto
and marked Exhibit A, be and is hereby declared abandoned as a roadway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized and directed
to forward a copy of this resolution to the Department of Land and Natural
Resources, State of Hawaii, and to the Department of public Works of the County
of Hawaii.
