REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 209, ADOPTED -DECEMBER 22, 1977, AND APPOINTING MEMBERS
AND DESIGNATING CHAIRMEN AND VICE CHAIRMEN OF THE THREE STANDING COMMITTEES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that Resolution 209,
adopted December 22, 1977, appointing members and designating the Chairman and
Vice Chairman, respectively of the Committee on Finance, Committee on Planning,
and Committee on Public Works, is hereby repealed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of Section 2 of
Rule 5 (Committees) and Rule 6 (Standing Committees) of the Rules of Procedure
of the Council of the County of Hawaii, as amended, the following members are
hereby appointed, and the following Chairmen and Vice Chairmen designated to the
following Standing Committees:
A. Committee on Finance
1. Harvey S. Tajiri, Chairman
2. Merle K. Lai, Vice Chairman
3. Takashi Domingo
4. Tomio Fujii
S. Joseph R. Garcia, Jr.
6. William S. Kawahara
B. Committee on Planning
1. Takashi Domingo, Chairman
2. Tomio Fujii, Vice Chairman
3. William S. Kawahara

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that new material is underscored. In printing this
Resolution, the underscoring need not be included.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall take effect upon its
approval.
