Resolution
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 208, RULE 20, ATTENDANCE, RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE
COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 22, 1977.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that Rule 20,
Attendance, Rules of Procedures of the Council of the County of Hawaii, adopted
by Resolution No. 208, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"No member shall absent himself from the meetings of the Council unless he
has leave granted by the Chairman, Vice -Chairman or temporary presiding officer
[or is sick and unable to attend]. The presiding officer shall state for the
record the reason a Council member is absent or excused and said reason shall
be recorded in the proceedings of said meeting."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that statutory material to be repealed is bracketed.
New material is underscored. In printing this Resolution, the brackets, the
bracketed material or the underscoring need not be included..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall take effect upon its
approval.
