Resolution
of Hawaii
WHEREAS, Chapter 2, Article 9, of Hawaii County Code provides
that the County Council may by resolution, approved by a majority
of its members, dispose of real property, and
WHEREAS, the cottages (2) located at Kohala High & Elementary
School and at Paauilo Intermediate & Elementary School and water
tank located at Hookena School are surplus and may be removed
due to phasing out of teacher housing units.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the County
of Hawaii that:
1. In accordance with the provision of Chapter 2, Article 9,
of the Hawaii County Code, the director of finance be authorized
to dispose of the buildings located at Kohala High & Elementary
School, Kohala, Hawaii TMK: 5-4-07-008, and at Paauilo
Intermediate & Elementary School, Paauilo, Hawaii TMK: 4-3-03-24,-
and
-3-03-24;and water tank located at Hookena School, Hookena, Hawaii
TMK: 8-6-10-9, by public auction.
2. The director of finance to determine the date, place,
and reasonable terms and conditions of the auction.
3. If no acceptable bids are received, that the 'buildings
and tank be demolished and removed expeditiously.
