Resolution
WHEREAS, the road known as the Old Kaumana Road located in Kaumana, South
Hilo, Hawaii, has not been abandoned; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the Old Kaumana Road is no longer of any use to the
County of Hawaii;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
a portion of the Old Kaumana Road as delineated in red on the map attached hereto
and marked Exhibit "A", be and is hereby declared abandoned as a roadway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized and directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to Mr. Michael Goldstein of Island Orchids,
Inc., Department of Land and Natural Resources, State of Hawaii and to the
Department of Public Works of the County of Hawaii.
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 5th day of March 19 80 .
