However, I do have some concerns. During this extremely difficult financial time I'm concerned with just where the funding would come from? The extensive rules and regulations are well written and thought out, however, there again specifically who will be manning the gates and verifying that the dogs coming in meets all the requirements? In my years of experience I have found that while many people may support a project it's quite another thing to get them to volunteer, especially on a continual basis. I also would not want animal control officers, police officers or park personnel to be expected to take on these regulations as part of their responsibility. All departments have more than they can handle with their regular schedules. Perhaps private parks would be a better solution at this time.
