Resolution
WHEREAS, pursuant to County Charter Section 3-14 interim amendments
to the Salary Ordinance may be by resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the Salary Ordinance is hereby amended for the following department:
CETA TITLE II (FEDERALLY FUNDED) (EXHIBIT F)
SECTION 8.02 (c). OFFICE OF MANPOWER RESOURCES. OFFICE OF THE MAYOR.
1. Add one new position of CETA Counselor SR -15.
This resolution shall amend the Salary Ordinances of 1978 and 1979.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted
to the departments of Manpower Resources, Finance, Personnel Services, and
Corporation Counsel for their information.

Minimum - $862.00; Maximum - $1,297.00
B. Funding: Federally funded (CETA Title II)
C. Proposed Job Description:
D. Rationale for the Request:
Provides training support services to meet needs
of participants by analyzing and evaluating their
vocational and career interests and previous
education, training, and experience; provides
follow-up services to training in order to maximize
training impact and evaluate further training
needs; maintains written records and files on all
services provided to participants; and performs
other related duties.
Training of CETA PSE participants is now required of the current CETA
Program, therefore, the immediate creation of this position is crucial.
