Resolution
WHEREAS, Honua Hawaii, the Community Beautification
Council and various donors and sponsors desire to donate
planters to the County of Hawaii to be placed on sidewalks
in downtown Hilo; and
WHEREAS, the Community Beautification Council and the
donors of the planters have jointly and severally agreed to
be"responsible for the maintenance and care of the planters
and the plants located therein; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Engineer of the County of Hawaii
will determine the placement of the planters,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that it hereby accepts the donation of the
planters as approved by the Chief Engineer of the County
and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the donors of such
planters, the landowners or lessees of the land abutting
the sidewalk on which the planters are placed, Honua Hawaii,
the Community Beautification Council, and any officers,
directors or members thereof, for any and all injuries and
damages allegedly caused or contributed to by the placement
of such planters on public sidewalks.

B. Job Description:
From: Cash Accountant SR -21
Present Duties: Maintains the general and control accounts required
of the Treasury Division; assists in the administra-
tion and supervision of the office; performs other
related duties as required.
To: Accountant III SR -21
New Duties: Performs difficult professional accounting work in
the maintenance, revision and/or development of an
accounting system; analyzes fiscal data; provides
interpretive and advisory services to management; and
performs other related duties.

Need for a broad class rather than:. that of a specialized one.
