RESOLUTION
NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt a street name of
unnamed roadway in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii
County Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of April 1, 1999, approved the
name for a certain unnamed roadway within the ICa'awaloa Orchards Agricultural project dlstrict,
Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadway, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as follows:
"Makahiki Lane" -named after the festival period during which Captain Cook visited.
