Resolution
NAMING OF A STREET IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting
of April 12, 1979, approved the following names for certain
unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii:
Cresecent City Heights Subdivision, Ponahawai, South
Hilo, Hawaii
Liko Lehua Street - meaning red lehua leaves as used
for leis
Palapalai Street - meaning a native fern growing
wild and cultivated, three to
four feet high with lacy, ovate,
somewhat hairy fronds
Wiliwili Street - extension of existing street
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that the said roadways located in the County
of Hawaii, State of Hawaii, be named as follows:
Crescent City Heights Subdivision, Ponahawai, South
Hilo, Hawaii
Liko Lehua Street - meaning red lehua leaves as used
