RESOLUTION
NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt the street names of
unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22,
Hawaii County Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regulaz meeting of May 21, 1999, approved the
names for the certain unnamed roadways within the land sections of Waikoekoe, Kanahonua,
Kukuihaele and Lalakea, Hamakua, Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadways, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as follows:
"Mud Lane" named after the historic reference to the road on
Tax Maps
"Kukuihaele Road" named after the Ahupuaa and Village
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 8th day of July , 1999.
