RESOLUTION NO.

WHEREAS, at the annual awards ceremonies which was held on
October 20, 1978, Mrs. Sharon Nomura,was selected as the County of
Hawaii's Outstanding Non -Supervisory Employee of the year 1978; and
WHEREAS, Mrs, Nomura,who has been a secretary in, the Planning
Department since September, 1977, had sustained a high degree of
efficiency and attention to details in coordinating all clerical
and/or logistical services to both the Planning Commission and the
Planning Board of Appeals; and,
WHEREAS, in addition to these responsibilities, Mrs. Nomura
monitors all hearings and transcribes minutes and prepares and dissemi-
nates pertinent information after and prior to each hearing; and
WHEREAS, her untiring and successful efforts to meet deadlines
despite her heavy workload, serves as an inspiration to all dedicated
civil servants.
NOW, THEF.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it hereby extends congratulations to Mrs. Sharon Nomura
for this recognition meritoriously earned and Dashes her continued
success in her career.
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
remit true copies of this resolution to Mrs. Sharon Nomura and to
Sidney Fuke, Planning Director.
