HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 316 Draft 01 1976-1980of OF OT \OF OF RESOLUTION No_- walu, � 1 14 if 316 t WHEREAS_, the passing of Thomas Suteichi Fuke, is mourned by his family and his many friends; and WHEREAS, this humble, quiet and unassuming man dedicated his time on earth towards the betterment of his community through the rearing of responsible children; and WHEREAS, such deeds are generally unheralded but inasmuch as Tom Fuke's successes are reflected by his sons whom he put through college with monies earned through 18 years of hard, dedicated work, supplemented by income derived from gardening, his favorite avocation; and WHEREAS, this paternal dedication resulted in the successful molding of his four sons namely Stanley, a school teacher, Chester, an electrical engineer, Sidney, County Planning Director, and Milton, Hawaii State Teachers Association Field Representative; and WHEREAS, such sacrifices and achievement merit commendation as it is the epitome of good familial responsibility and obligation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII in reccgnition of this humble achievement that it hereby expresses its deepest condolences and requests that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii remit true copies of this resolution to his wife, Mrs. Matsuko Fuke, and to his sons, Stanley, Chester, Sidney and Milton.
