HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 313 Draft 01 1976-1980- o 0 County of Hawaii --State of Hawaii Resolution RESOLUTION NO. 313 WHEREAS, the Clerical Services Center is presently leasing an IBM Magnetic Card I Selectric typewriter for $176.03 a month under a lease dated January 11, 1974; and WHEREAS, IBM Corporation allows a portion of paid lease monies to be applied toward the purchase of the IBM Magnetic Card I Selectric typewriter; and WHEREAS, the amount of paid lease monies capable of being credited toward the purchase of a typewriter is such that it is in the best interest of the County of purchase the IBM Magnetic Card I Selectric typewriter or its equivalent at this time; and WHEREAS, the purchase amount of $117.22 per month will be less than the rental amount of $176.03 per month for the IBM Magnetic Card I Selectric typewriter, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the Clerical Services Center is hereby authorized to purchase an IBM Magnetic Card I Selectric type- writer or its equivalent on an installment plan basis extending over 24 months, and that necessary funds be provided in the following two fiscal years to cover the obligation of the County under the installment purchase agreement to be entered into by the Mayor for the benefit of the Clerical Services Center. 1978.
