Communication No. 405Bi1198, reports as follows:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983
(2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC {adds Akolea
Road, southbound approach to bridge adjacent to parcels 2-5-6:130, 2-5-47:2, 2-5-56:41, and
2-5-56:43 to Article 10, Division 2 (Moving Vehicles), Section 24-265, Schedule 13
(Yield locations), paragraph (c) South Hilo}.
Councilman Ikeda explained this bill affected his district and he is in support.
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Bi1198 and recommends passage at first reading.
