Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred
Communication No. 407 and Bill 100, reports as follows:
Bill 100, transmitted by Director of Public Works Warren H.W. Lee, via Communication No. 407,
dated .Tune 1, 2009, amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-255, Schedule 3
(25 mile per hour limit), paragraph (g), Puna, of the IIawai`i County Code 1983 (200 edition, as
amended), by adding the following, to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
"( 1 South Kulani Road."
At its meeting of July 7, 2009, Your Committee recommended passage of Bill 100 on first
reading. Items from all committee agendas for July 7, 2009 were put to a re-vote due to issues of
legality. The remaining history and information regarding this measure is contained within the
original Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations Committee Report 24, dated July 7, 2009.
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Bill 100 and recommends passage at first reading.
