Communication No. 398, transmitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated June 8, 2009, nominates
Mr. Emily W. Wery, David R. Carlson, Antonio T. Gaspar and Don Bennett to the Hawaii County
Veterans Advisory Commission:
Your Committee recommended confirmation of these appointments on July 7, 2009. Items from all
committee agendas for July 7, 2009 were put to a re-vote due to issues of legality. The remaining
history and information regarding this measure is contained within the original Public Safety and
Parks and Recreation Report Number 12, dated July 7, 2009.
Your Committee on Public Safety and Parks and Recreation recommends the appointment of
Emile W. Wery, David R. Carlson, Antonio T. Gaspar, and Don D. Bennett to the Hawaii County
Veterans Advisory Commission.
