Resolution No. `107 82
WHEREAS, pursuant to County Charter Section 3-14 interim amendments to
the Salary Ordinance may be by resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the Salary Ordinance of 1982 is hereby amended for the following departments:
SECTION 8.03. OFFICE OF THE CORPORATION COUNSEL.
1. Add one new position of Legal Stenographer SR -14.
SECTION 8.05. PLANNING DEPARTMENT.
1. Add one new position of Planner III SR -18.
2. Add one new position of Clerk -Typist SR -8.
SECTION 8.08 (g). BUREAU .OF TRAFFIC SAFETY AND CONTROL. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORKS.
1. Add one new position of Lead Traffic Electrician WF -12.
2. Add one new position of Clerk -Typist SR -8.
SECTION 8.10. FIRE DEPARTMENT.
1. Add one new position of Fire Prevention Inspector I SR -19.
SECTION 8.12. POLICE DEPARTMENT.
1. Add one new position of Senior Clerk SR -10.
2. Add two new positions of Clerk -Typist SR -8.
3. Add one new position of Police Sergeant SR -21.
4. Add seven new positions of Police Officer SR -18.
5. Add one new position of Radio Technician I SR -19.
6. Change the status of one position of Payroll Clerk SR -10 from
temporary to permanent full-time.
7. Change the status of one position of Clerk -Typist SR -8 from
temporary to permanent full-time.
Special Traffic Enforcement Unit (delete)
8. Delete two positions of Police Sergeant SR -21.
9. Delete ten positions of Police Officer SR -18.
10. Delete one position of Clerk -Stenographer SR -9.
SECTION 8.15. OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY.
1. Add one new position of Clerk -Stenographer SR -9.
2. Add one new position of Receptionist SR -7.

SECTION 8.09 (c). MAINTEN_9NCE DIVISION. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION.
1. Add eight new positions of Park Caretaker I (2/5 T) WB -2.
FEDERAL/COUNTY-PROJECT FUNDED -EXEMPT POSITIONS (EXHIBIT E)
SECTION 8.03. OFFICE OF THE CORPORATION COUNSEL.
CHILD SUPPORT DIVISION
1. Add one new position of Clerk -Stenographer SR -9.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
the departments of Corporation Counsel, Planning, Public Works, Fire, Police,
Prosecuting Attorney, Parks and Recreation, Finance and Civil Service for their
information.
